From Son to Father: A Father’s Day Reflection From the President of BEX®
Father’s Day has a way of pulling us back into moments we didn’t realize mattered at the time.
- Early mornings before the day gets loud.
- Time spent outside without much of a plan.
- Long conversations that weren’t scheduled, but somehow stayed with you longer than the rest of the day.
The kind of moments that don’t announce themselves as important, but become that way over time.
For many of us, those moments start with fathers, mentors, or the people who simply showed up and let us learn by being there. Time outside wasn’t just about where we were, it was about how we learned to see things. Patience. Presence. Appreciation for the simple parts of life that are easy to miss.
As kids, we don’t always understand it. But over time, those moments take on more weight. They shape how we remember things, and eventually, how we move through the world ourselves.
At BEX®, we believe those moments are where perspective is built.

As I reflect on my own life, I see three chapters.

A boy learning from those around him.

A young man finding his own path.

And now, a father doing his best to pass something meaningful on to the next generation.
Those are the memories that stay with us. Being a father has taught me patience, perspective, and the importance of slowing down long enough to actually be there. It’s also reminded me that the moments we share today often become the stories our children carry tomorrow.
This Father’s Day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep building those memories with my own family.
